From launch to options in three steps
Launch a coin, seed its market pool, and calls and puts on it are live at once. No listing desk, no waiting.
Launch your coin
Name it, pick a symbol, add a logo and a description. One transaction on the Pons V2 factory creates the token and its bonding curve on Robinhood Chain.
Seed the options market
Send at least 100 USD of ETH to the market pool. That pool backs every contract written on your coin, and premiums paid by traders flow back into it.
Trade calls and puts
The coin lists on OptionsPad the moment the launch is recorded. Anyone can buy the coin on the curve, or buy a call or a put on it with a strike and an expiry they choose.
What is going on underneath
One chain, one currency
Everything runs on Robinhood Chain and settles in ETH. The coin lives on the Pons V2 bonding curve, the pool and the balances are ETH, and Chainlink supplies the ETH to USD rate for the minimum pool size.
The market pool
The launcher seeds a pool of at least 100 USD in ETH. Every premium paid on the coin goes into it and every payout comes out of it. A contract can only open when the pool has enough free ETH to cover its full payout, and that amount is reserved on the spot.
Strikes and expiries
Pick a strike from the ladder around the live price, or type your own, between a quarter and four times the spot. Expiries run from one hour to seven days.
How the premium is set
A Black-Scholes price on the curve's live mark, using the coin's realised volatility from its recent ticks (or a default when it is brand new). The house adds a fixed markup when you buy and takes the same markup off when it buys back.
Payouts are capped, losses are capped
A call pays the notional times the move above the strike, up to one full notional. A put pays the notional times the move below the strike. The premium is the most a buyer can lose.
Settlement and early close
At expiry the contract settles at the first price recorded after the expiry time and any payout lands in your balance. Before expiry you can sell it back at its live value at any moment.
Ready to launch?
Two transactions and a signature. The market opens the moment the coin is listed.
